Hamilton Jones Associates is an independent management consulting organization providing senior management development services. 

Many of our development projects include small business, commercial, finance, manufacturing, emerging markets, start-ups, and joint ventures. 

Much of our development involves creating innovative investment strategies and solutions for business.  This means that our due diligence includes a lot of thought and care for the direction of the business, and individuals involved.

Our typical business clients are looking for funding anywhere in a range from $1 million to $5 million dollars, which is usually under the amounts that can be provided with typical venture capital organizations.

These business clients are usually looking for board level, advisory board level, c-level, and senior management individuals that can bring investors (either themselves or those they represent) along with them to these positions.

Most of the potential investors we find are looking for a significant return on their investment, as well as quality, and diversity.  They tend to feel that they can mitigate much of the investment risk that would usually be involved, by participating in the management of the company themselves.  Their exit strategy is typically a relatively short term (under 5 years) sell-out or buy-out of the business.

Many of the potential investors we find  might be considered to be 'accredited' investors, but this is not necessary for us.    'Accredited' investors are defined as having a net worth of at least $1 million and annual income of $200,000 or more, and are therefore eligable to receive prospectus documentation from registered brokerage firms.  Our documentation is going to involve the actual business plans, resumes, business financials, individual and group meetings, and your sense of suitability for you.
